As you probably already know, arengu's WP plugin allows you to build custom registration and login forms in a few minutes thanks to the fully-editable templates, and now thanks to a new guided wizard, which will make it even easier to create and set up them.
100% customizable use cases
In this post, we collect the most common use cases, which you can build and customize with the wizard, just in a few clicks, and they are also really easy to embed. Discover everything you can do with your WordPress website, thanks to the editor:
Curious about them? Let's take a look at the different forms and use cases that the arengu plugin makes compatible with your WordPress website. 😉
Improve the security and completely personalize the signup forms of your website. Use the guided wizard to build it, color pickers to set up its appearance, and add the logic behind it without coding to make it look and work exactly as you want.
You can build from the most simple registration forms, asking for the basic credentials — email and password —, to signup forms with different payment options, subscription plans, and even conditional logic to get more information from your users.
Learn here how to build and embed a basic signup form for your WordPress website, in order to help you blocking spam and fake users and keeping clean your contact list, and also how to set up payments with Stripe in your registration forms.
Login forms & Social login
Customize your login forms too, and allow users to access with their social accounts to make it even easier for them, and to get more information about them too. If they don't want to use them, they can also access with their email and password credentials.
Our editor allows you to create any logic for your forms, in addition to customize their look and feel with a few clicks. You can learn here how to create a custom login form for your WordPress website, and how to build a social login form with our form editor.
Allow your users to log in without the need to remember their password. You can also make your forms passwordless, by using the guided wizard and the fully customizable templates. Choose between one-time passwords or magic links ✨ to build them.
There are different options for passwordless forms, but you can learn in our blog how to build all of them. Discover here how to generate and send OTPs by email using MailJet and SendGrid, how to send OTPs by SMS, and also how to generate and send magic links ✨ to grant users access to your website in an easier and equally secure way.
Multi-factor authentication forms
If what you need is to further strengthen the security of access to your WP website, you can implement a multi-factor authentication form. This use case may sound a bit more complex, but it really won't be thanks to the guided wizard and the templates.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) consists of checking the user's identity by requiring 2 or more verification factors. One of the most common examples are 2FA login processes, that ask for an email and a password, and then send a temporary code (OTP) via email or SMS, to be input in the login form. Sure you have already used one!
You can learn here how to build a 2FA form with temporary codes for your WP website using the templates but, if you are an advanced user with coding skills, you may be interested in taking a look at more advanced MFA flows that you can build with the editor.
Embed your forms with a shortcode
Each form created with the editor will have a unique shortcode that will allow you to embed it, like any other embeddable content, in any post or page of your WordPress website. You just have to copy and paste it wherever you want to use it.
Once your form is published and working, you will be able to update any changes in it simply by clicking a button. That easy! 🎉
